Custom Massage
My custom massages are a deeply relaxing fusion of the various massage styles I have studied. The base of each session is a soothing Swedish massage that may include deep tissue, myofascial, reflexology, Thai, abdominal, and manual lymphatic drainage techniques. Sessions can be full body and relaxing, dialed in to focus on a specific area, or a uniquely nourishing combination.
*I do not specialize in trigger point or extremely deep work. If you enjoy “painful” styles of massage, I will not be a good fit for you.*

Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy®
Arvigo® therapy is designed around the unique needs of women. For cramp relief, postpartum care, or conception struggles, this gentle massage will help you find balance in your cycle and harmony within your body. Abdominal massage is wonderful for re-balancing the uterus following birth. The Initial session includes a thorough intake and instructions for at home self-care.
This massage includes abdominal work. It is not pregnancy safe. I will work with fertility clients to create a treatment schedule that is optimal for conception.

Pregnancy Massage
Prenatal massage helps relieve stress and improves overall wellness during all stages of pregnancy. It eases the discomforts associated with pregnancy such as backaches, leg stiffness, headache and swelling. Gentle, nurturing strokes give mom a tranquil respite from the aches of pregnancy. I will work with clients who are accustomed to a deeper massage to accomplish their specific treatment goals.
Prenatal clients can expect safe and comfortable positioning through all stages of pregnancy. The first trimester will include only the most gentle work with minimal adjustments to positioning. In the second and third trimesters I use side lying and semi-reclined (seated) positioning for the ultimate safety of baby and mother.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage has a wide variety of applications: post-surgical, post-cancer maintenance*, edema (swelling),** migraine relief, sinus/allergy relief, deep neurological relaxation, and so much more. Lymphatic drainage is a slow, gentle, rhythmic massage that achieves powerful results.
*I only work with oncology clients in full remission. Please seek an oncology certified practitioner if you are actively undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatments.
**Edema has many causes and MLD may not be suitable for your situation. Please consult with your doctor prior to booking if your edema is linked to high blood pressure or other heart conditions. If your swelling had a sudden onset, is limited to one specific limb, or is extremely painful, please seek medical attention immediately as this is a sign of a potential blood clot. MLD is generally safe for pregnancy related edema but I may request approval by your physician.
